06/2024. On June 27, 2024, the first seminar series of the FFoQSI Seminar Series 2024 on "New Threats: How to cope with them?" took place, which was followed by over 69 participants.

The online webinar "New Threats: How to cope with them?" was held on June 27 from 9:30 to 14:00 via Zoom and offered exciting insights into current challenges and solutions:

  • Bacterial threats in climate change age (Martin Wagner, FFoQSI + Vetmeduni Wien)
  • The Corona Pandemics: What have epidemiologists learnt? (Lukas Richter, AGES)
  • Antimicrobial resistance: From mechanisms to threats (Olga Makarova, Vetmeduni Wien)
  • Studying Alternaria toxins fate within tomato sauces industrial processing (Michele Suman, Barilla)
  • Water Safety (Andreas Farnleitner, TU Wien + KLU Krems)
  • Waterborne toxins: Does the climate change leverage the risks? (Elisabeth Varga, Vetmeduni)
