Master Thesis Opportunity/Internship in microbiology
«Characterisation of disinfectant resistance of food related multispecies biofilms »
Your responsibilities
- Extensive literature study
- Planning and conducting experimental studies with strains from the food processing environment.
- Analysing microbial biofilms (e.g., via PCR, qPCR, sequencing, microscopy, FACS, or biochemical methods)
- Documenting and interpreting results
- Participating in regular lab meetings and presenting your progress
Your most important abilities and qualifications are
- Enrolled Master’s student in Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of microbiology and molecular biology techniques
- Working experience in an S2 environment is encouraged
- Independent and structured working style
- Team player with a keen interest in scientific research
