Your responsibilities

• Extensive literature study
• Planning and conducting experimental studies with strains from the food processing environment.
• Analysing microbial biofilms (e.g., via PCR, qPCR, sequencing, microscopy, FACS, or biochemical methods)
• Documenting and interpreting results
• Participating in regular lab meetings and presenting your progress

Your most important abilities and qualifications are

• Enrolled Master’s student in Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of microbiology and molecular biology techniques
• Working experience in an S2 environment is encouraged
• Independent and structured working style
• Team player with a keen interest in scientific research
