10/2023. On Monday, October 2, 2023, the Innovation Corner was ceremoniously opened by Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner with a stand contribution by FFoQSI in the foyer of the Technical Museum Vienna.

Focus AGRIFOOD - Innovations for tomorrow's agriculture and nutrition

Our dedicated researchers are the driving force behind Lower Austria's success as a center of science - so the tenor of Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner and numerous representatives from politics, business and science at the opening of the Innovation Corner in the Technical Museum. From October 2023 to January 2024, the regularly changing exhibition area will showcase pioneering technologies for tomorrow's agriculture and nutrition under the focus "Agrifood". FFoQSI is represented with the project "Pathways of knowledge from plate to pond" by the researcher Andreas Zitek and provides exciting insights into the methodical procedure for determining the origin of fish by means of otoliths (ear stones) with a showcase prepared in detail as well as a video contribution:
