05/2024. A taste of science! FFoQSI was represented at the Long Night of Research on Friday, May 24, 2024 at Technopol Tulln with an interactive station all about the “heroes of cheese production”..

Numerous interesting exhibitions, guided tours and experiments on the latest knowledge from bioeconomy, biotechnology, agricultural sciences, renewable raw materials and much more awaited the visitors to the Night of Research 2024 at the Technopol in Tulln.

Who are the real heroes of cheese production?

The dedicated FFoQSI team answered this question at the interactive FFoQSI stand. What does the cow eat to produce valuable milk for the cheese? Who actually helps the cow with digestion? How many different microorganisms are there on the cheese? And who is really responsible for cheese tasting so good? Visitors were able to taste the answers to these and many other research questions during the final cheese tasting!
